Patricia D. Hicks

Patricia D. Hicks, 90, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Pat was born in Jacksonville, Florida on January 27, 1936 to the late Joseph Curtis Duke and Henrietta Dukes Sharp.Pat had many hobbies including arts & Crafts, searching for seashells, and Fishing. Most of all Pat enjoyed preaching and sharing the word of God.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis William Dukes.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Captain Delano Hicks; daughter, Alicia (Herb) Perez; her son, Delano Hicks II; sister, Kay (John) Black; her grandchildren, Latitia, Amber, Hailey, Joshua, Alyssa, and McKenna; great grandchildren, Alexander, Trinity, Faith, Serina, Blake, and Tesla; and her great great grandchild, Braxton; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary with Pastor William Robinson officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
