Patricia Baker

January 31, 1960 — June 26, 2025

Patricia Renee Baker, known as Renee and Nanny to most, age 65, of Decatur, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.


Born on January 31st, 1960 in Battle Creek, Michigan, Renee lived a life defined by strength, resilience, and deep devotion to those she loved. She was a fiercely loyal and loving mother, grandmother (Nanny), great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Known for her authenticity, hard-working spirit, and unwavering heart, Renee touched countless lives with her presence.


She found joy in the simple pleasures of life-especially laughing with friends and family and hunting for treasures at yard sales and thrift stores. Her sense of humor, determination, and generosity will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.


Renee is survived by her sons, Steven Kelsey and Michael (Kami) Espinoza; her daughter-in-heart, Hannah Ashbrooke; her beloved grandchildren, Teya (Matthew) Fulbright, Garren (Sierra) Kyker, Breyana Dixon, Isabella Espinoza, Mia Espinoza, and Sofia Espinoza; and her great-granddaughter, Caroline Fulbright. She also leaves behind her siblings, Mike Davidson, Sandi (Steve) Harris, and Steve (Christina) Goodwin, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Inez Davidson, her sister, Deborah Jean Goodwin, and her mother-in-law and special friend, Ruth Garrett.


In May 2024, a joyful and heartfelt celebration of Renee's life was held, where she joined family and friends in a gathering filled with love, fellowship, and gratitude. At her request, no services will be held.


She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
