Patricia Ann Bailey

Patricia Ann (Klein) Bailey, 86, of Athens, Tennessee passed away September 10, 2025 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Born in Easton, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Frank W. Klein and Mary Elizabeth (Betty) (Mawyer) Klein. She was a graduate of Easton Area High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Bailey in June 2020. Patricia is survived by her sons, Stephen J. Bailey, North Carolina and Jonathan P. Bailey (Bonnie), Easton and her grandson, Ryan P. Bailey (Jenny), Easton.

Patricia was baptized December 19, 1953 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and was an avid student and teacher of the Bible for the rest of her life. She served as a full-time pioneer until she began raising a family. She was a faithful member of several congregations in the Easton Area. After she moved to Tennessee, she was a member of the English Athens congregation for the last 10 years.

Patricia was a devoted stay at home mother and wife caring for her family's needs and having family meals together. She also worked in food service for several years at Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania after her children were grown. Patricia loved being a grandmother to Ryan taking him on vacations and outings when he was off of school. Her hobbies were reading, working on crossword puzzles and watching suspense movies, Jeopardy and "The Wheel". She was generous with her time and finances in ways often unknown by others.

Burial arrangements will be privately handled by the family and Companion Funeral and Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses at jw.org.
