Pamela Mullinax Whitlock (69), of Cleveland, Tennessee, entered Heaven on February 10, 2026. She was born to the late Boyce and Betty Ann Mullinax. A native South Carolinian, she is survived by her greatest gifts and joy-her family: her husband, Greg; daughters, Tyler and Anna (son-in-law, Andy); granddaughters, Logan and Adaline; and grandson, Maddox.
Pam was a graduate of North Greenville College, where she met Greg. She later graduated from Winthrop University (B.S.) and Clemson University (M.Ed.). A lifelong learner, she became a teacher and taught elementary education, special education, English as a Second Language, and Reading Recovery. She taught in classrooms in South Korea and in five states, serving at 18 different schools. She loved music and was part of choirs and praise teams throughout her life. She also loved to travel and was known for her infectious laugh.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, February 21, at 10:30 a.m. at Broad Street United Methodist Church, 155 Central Ave., Cleveland, TN 37312. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vanderbilt University for gallbladder cancer research at https://give.vanderbilthealth.org/give/246900/#!/donation/checkout or to United Way Ocoee Region at https://www.unitedwayocoee.org/give for "Make a Change Day 2026," so that school supplies can be donated to children in need.
Right now I'm in a different place
And though we seem apart
I'm closer than I ever was,
'm there inside your heart.
I'm with you when you greet each day
And while the sun shines bright
I'm there to share the sunsets, too
I'm with you every night.
I'm with you when the times are good
To share a laugh or two,
And if a tear should start to fall
I'll still be there for you.
And when that day arrives
That we no longer are apart,
I'll smile and hold you close to me,
Forever in my heart.
