Pamela "Pam" Vaughn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 18, 2025, at the age of 67.
Pam was a devoted member of Liberty Church of Jesus Christ, where she served with a heart full of faith, compassion, and love. Her unwavering belief in Christ was the cornerstone of her life, and she took great joy in the fellowship and sharing the word of God. Pam was known for her kind spirit, her generous heart, and her ability to lift others up in prayer and encouragement.
Above all, Pam's greatest joy came from her family. She cherished her children and grandchildren with a love that knew no bounds. She was the rock of her family, offering guidance, wisdom, and endless affection. Whether celebrating birthdays, holidays, or just enjoying time together, Pam made every moment with her loved ones unforgettable. In addition to her devotion to her family and faith, Pam had a passion for traveling. One of her favorite places was Panama City Beach, Florida, where she found peace and joy in the beauty of the ocean and the sunshine.
Pam is survived by her husband, Terry; brothers, Scott (Evette) Hunter and Darry
Hunter; daughters, Jennifer (Ezekiel) Thomison and Christy (John) Neal; grandchildren,
Stephanie Thomison, Whitney (Cole) McCoy, Austin (Kayce) Sloan, Ezekiel (Scarlett) Thomison, Dylan (Sarah) Neal, Joshua Thomison, Asher Neal, and a host of other family members and friends who will deeply miss her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love.
A celebration of Pam's life will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home Original Chapel with Pastor Jason Kennedy officiating. Visitation to begin at 10:00 AM, with services immediately following at Noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Pamela's honor
Pam's legacy of love, faith, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She
will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
