Oscar Franklin Buckner

Oscar Buckner, age 87 of Cleveland, departed this life on Monday, March 7, 2022 at his residence. Born on January 27, 1935 in Chattanooga to the late Vance and Julie Buckner, he had spent the last 10 years in Bradley County and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy Buckner; son Frankie Buckner; sister, Sidney Burton; and brothers, Robert and Richard Buckner.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Julie Oaks(William), Lin Buckner(Angie), Oscar Buckner(Gina), and Brandon Buckner; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild; as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Oscar Franklin Buckner will be held at 7:30 PM Sunday, March 13, 2022 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Donald Oliver officiating.
The family will receive from 5:30 PM until the funeral hour on Sunday.
