Nora Belle Myers Rodgers

Nora Rodgers, age 90, of Charleston, departed this life on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Lifecare Center of Cleveland. Born in Sullivan County, Tennessee to the late Frank and Lillie Brooks Myers, she spent a majority of her life in Charleston and was a longtime and active member of First Baptist Church of Charleston. She loved cooking, spending time with her family and loved her church family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Rodgers; sons David and Donald Rodgers; grandchildren, Rachel Konen and Jonathan Rodgers; and infant daughter, Brenda Jean and Linda Jane.
Survivors include her son Ron Rodger (Jeanie); grandchildren, Brian Rodgers (Angel), Kurt Rodgers(Lisa), Keith Rodgers(Beth); five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews; extended family; church family and friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Nora Belle Myers Rodgers will be held at 2p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 from the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Samuel Burger officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.
