Nellie Will Robinson Burdette

Nellie Will Robinson Burdette (93) passed away at home with her family by her side on February 7th, 2021. Nellie was a Charleston resident for over 73 years and was a schoolteacher at Charleston High School from 1953-1983. Mrs. Burdette enjoyed teaching, sewing, reading- but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Nellie Burdette was a loving mother and grandmother to her son Ronnie L Burdette, daughter Linda S Burdette, and granddaughter Annamarie J Simpson.

Nellie Burdette was preceded in death by her father Joe T Robinson, her mother Sally Will Robinson, her brother, Lewis Robinson, and husband Bill Burdette.

The family will hold a graveside service on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 12:00PM in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. They will leave the funeral home at 11:30 in procession to the cemetery.
