Nellie Mae Trentham

On January 14, 1952 a beautiful baby girl was born to Martha and Lee Sparry, they named her Nellie Mae, She was the fourth child of ten children.

Nellie was a hard worker and helped care for five of her younger brothers and sisters. She soon married and had her own child, Brian Morgan, he was her whole world. She never missed a day without talking about how great Brian was to everyone she talked to. The family all knew how much she loved her son. Nellie was also an animal lover, she cared for them as if they were her own children. Her dog and cat will miss her love.

Nellie loved the Lord with all her heart, God blessed her with a singing talent. She used it in so many ways. Nellie traveled with two singing groups and sang at so many churches she let her talent shine and boy could she sing. Nellie will be missed by her son, Brian Morgan, daughter in-law Linda, two brothers John and David Sparry, five sisters Betty Waycaster, Mary Johnson, Elizabeth Young, Willie Voles, Wanda Shell, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Nellie is preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Trentham, her parents Lee and Martha Sparry, two brothers Andrew and Tim Sparry and especially her best friend, Donna.

Nellie was Church of God by faith and a member of Etowah Church of God. She did her work on Earth and did a great job.

We are all so blessed to have Nellie in our lives, she was a wonderful woman, we know today she is with her Lord Jesus Christ and is singing with the angels and checking out heaven with Jackie, we love and miss you Nellie.
