Nathan Mashaw

Nathan Robert Mashaw, 38, passed away on June 1, 2025. Nathan was born on June 3, 1986 in Gouverneur, NY. He was a student at Harrisville Central School. After completing school, he spent time drumming for "Ugly In Public" a local band. He relocated to Chattanooga, TN to be near family in 2007 and spent several years employed as a grounds keeper for local golf courses.

He was a kid at heart and loved to recite his favorite comedy characters, playing with his nieces, nephew and cousins, showing off his magic tricks and providing hours of laughter. God blessed Nathan as a natural musician and he loved to play drums and the guitar. Nathan easily made friends wherever he went. He had a big heart, putting others first and stepping in to help.

He is survived by his parents Ricky and Susan Mashaw, siblings Erica, Lydia and Noah Mashaw, nephew Jaelon, nieces Chloe and Eleana (Chattanooga, TN), grandmothers Audrey Ross (FL) and Beverly Whitney (NY), along with several aunts, uncles and cousins in NY, TN and FL.

He will be missed by all.

A memorial service in his honor will be held on July 5, 2025, at Action Church, East Ridge, TN.
