Naomi Elizabeth Sims, 82, passed away April 14, 2025. She was born October 3, 1942, and of the Christian faith. She loved music, dogs, nature, and reading. Naomi was a travel nurse in which she enjoyed sightseeing and going to the beach. Naomi had a passionate love for her family, friends, and her dog "Baby Yoda".
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Roy and Parthenia Rosa Hill Reneau; husband, Noel Ross Sims; brothers, James, Paul, John and David; sister Ruth Swafford.
Survived by her daughter, Sherri Michelle Sims; siblings, Mary Harris and Martha Durichek.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Michelle Sims.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 18th, at 6:00 P.M. at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 9109 Pine Ridge Rd Ooltewah, TN 37363.
