Mykel Dexter Jenkins

Mykel Dexter Jenkins, born in Chattanooga on December 31, 1991, was taken too soon at the age of 29 on March 19, 2021. In his short life, he made a positive impact on so many friends and family because he was willing to do anything he could to help everyone he knew. He loved nothing more than to spend time with his niece and nephew, or the children of family and friends.

He is loved. He will be missed every day by his mother Isabel Jenkins, sisters Caitlyn Jenkins and Yolanda Jones, brother Jonathan Jenkins, niece Onelia Austin, nephew Gideon Jones, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Mykel’s life will be held Monday, March 29, 2021 at 7p.m. from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
