Misty Roberts

Misty Dawn Roberts, age 42, passed away on December 28, 2025. She was born on April 19, 1983, and will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and love for her family and those around her.

Misty was preceded in death by her father, Perry Scoggins; her step-father, Joel Powell; and her beloved grandparents.

She is survived by her loving mother, Lana Powell; her devoted husband, Dwayne Roberts; her cherished children, son Justin Roberts and daughter Olivia Roberts; and her cousins, Traci Moses, Kelly Miller, and Aaron Miller, along with other family and friends who loved her dearly.

Misty found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved playing music, taking jeep rides through the mountains, and watching hummingbirds. Above all, she had a giving heart and found fulfillment in helping others, always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Walker Valley Community Church on Monday, January 5, 2026. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the service officiated by Pastor Kenny Rodriguez and Pastor Larry Hamilton. A graveside service will follow at Hiwassee Memorial Gardens officiated by Pastor Donnie Patterson.
