Misty Lively

Misty Anne Wood, 57, has peacefully gone to be with her Lord and Savior in her home on 12-27-2025. She was surrounded with love by her 5 children.

Misty Anne began her life in Columbus, IN and lived in Brown County until the age of 22, when she moved to Mobile, AL. She grew up loving the country and riding her favorite horses. She attended Purdue University, finishing her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at The University of South Alabama. She always wanted a large family, eventually having 5 children and 4 grandchildren. She purposefully put her enduring faith in the Lord (YHWH) into every interaction. She volunteered at the Greenfield Senior Living Center and developed close relationships with everyone who was blessed to meet her. Her love for people, family, and friends was demonstrated by her acts of kindness, comforting presence, and selflessness. She loved to go hiking, garden, play games, be with family, and decorate her home. Her rich laughter always filled a room. She is deeply missed by those that love her.

She is survived by her father, Richard Leo Wood (95) - her brother, Duane Wood (58) - her sister-in-law, Melissa Wood (56) - her 5 children, Misty Elise Bishop (34), Bethany Anne Bishop (32), Jeremiah Bishop (31), Kyle Hardin (27), and Kayla Hardin (25) - and her 4 grandchildren, Nora Bishop (9), Finley Willings (7), Kirsten Bishop-McDaniel (5), and Atlas McDaniel (1).
