Marlene "Doodle" Pritchett

Marlene "Doodle" Pritchett, age 82, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025. She was born on October 25, 1943, in Ducktown, Tennessee, to the late Otis and Ruby Wilson Green. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Pritchett and sister Shirley Christine Kibble.

She is survived by her son Shawn (Lisa) Pritchett; stepson Scott (Sarah) Pritchett; and stepdaughter Angie (Bobby) Ledford, and step-granddaughters Andrea (Pete) Brooks and Christa (Ricky) Stuart. She is also survived by her sister Wilma Maxine Franklin and her loving cousin, Maurice Roberts and her special friend, Mary Thompson. Marlene cherished her family deeply and especially loved spending time with her two grandsons, Jedsen and Ezekiel Pritchett, who brought her great joy.

Marlene retired from Maytag after many years of dedicated service and later worked part-time at Bradley Healthcare and Rehab Center, where she was known for her caring nature and warm smile. She loved to travel and always treasured the memories made with her family and friends.

Marlene was of the Pentecostal faith, and there is no doubt she is now resting in the arms of Jesus. Her family extends a heartfelt thank you to Bradley Healthcare and Hospice of Chattanooga for their kindness and compassionate care during her final days.

A private family service will be held in her honor, and she will be interred at Sugar Creek Cemetery.

Marlene will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
