Mildred White

Mildred "Mil" Jean White, 38, went home to walk with Jesus on September 23, 2025.

Mil loved life and the people in it. She enjoyed reading, spending time outdoors, and especially fishing. She had a big heart for animals and cared deeply for them. More than anything, Mil loved her family and the time she shared with them.

Preceded in death by her father, George T Mefford; uncle, Terry Hammond; and aunt, Evelyn Ball.

Survivors include her mother, Deborah White; daddy, Scott Mize; brother, Julian White; aunts, Margaret Hammond and Marion (Jeff) Elliott; uncles, Tim Hammond and JR Hammond; cousins, Chris Hammond, Andy Hammond, David Ball, Josh Ball, and Amanda Owens; and many other loved family and friends.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to Companion Funeral Home for her final expenses.
