Michael Moore

Michael Edward Moore Sr., age 80, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Michael lived a full and meaningful life grounded in faith, family, and service.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Moore.

He was of the Catholic faith and proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Army. After his military service, Michael spent his career as a dedicated truck driver, supporting his family and traveling the roads with commitment and care.

Michael found joy in life's simple pleasures-camping in nature, casting a line while fishing, and staying sharp with electronic games. His quiet humor, strength, and loyalty will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his five children: Tammy (Kenneth) Doolittle, Michael Moore Jr., Diana Moore, Bryan Moore, and Debra (James Moss) Moore; his brother Kenneth (Ann) Dixon; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
