Michael Ford

October 19, 1965 — June 2, 2025


On Monday, June 2nd, Michael Richard Ford went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Tracy Ford, his children Rachel (fiance, Keith Brown) and Jacob Ford; 3 brothers Gordon S. Ford Jr (Toni), Matthew Ford (Brenda), and John Ford (Sherry). As well as nieces Jessica Ford, Tiffany Frambles, Rebecca Ford, Rachel Lingerfelt and his nephews Matthew, Christian, and John D. Ford.

He was a graduate of Ooltewah High School and Chattanooga State Community College. Michael served in the United States Army from 1987-1995 where he served in Germany and Southwest Asia. He spent 27 years at Hendrickson MotorWheel as an Electronics Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, and finally as a Divisional Engineering Technician.

Michael was a member of The Church at Grace Point where he served as a Life Point group leader and also worked in the Pre School Ministry. He had a heart for missions and served with his Life Point group at The Salvation Army. He also served and supported mission work in Jamaica and during that time has been blessed with Jamaican close friends and loved ones.

Celebration of life services will take place at The Church at Grace Point at 2575 Old Freewill Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37312 on Monday, June 9th. Visitation is 5:00pm - 6:30pm. Service will follow immediately after with Dr. Phil Griffin and Rev. Perry McCallister officiating. He will be interred at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Veteran's Honors on Friday, June 20th, 1:00PM. Dr. Phil Griffin officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you to donate to the Cleveland Salvation Army.
