Michael Eugene Penney

Michael Eugene Penney, 68, of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019.

Mike was a long time employee of BellSouth. He then became self-employed installing and repairing telephone systems. Mike also owned and operated a lawn service business. He enjoyed officiating high school basketball games much of his adult life after playing basketball at Bradley Central High School. Mike was an avid golfer and took pleasure in spending time with his many friends throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his son, Lee Penney; parents, William and Mary Frances Penney; brother, Bill Penney.

Survivors include his daughter, Whitney Harden (husband, Randy); grandsons, Gabriel and William Harden; brothers, Jim and Steve Penney; sisters, Donna Penney, Patti McClure, and Jeri Pruitt; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 10am - 12noon for a Celebration of Life at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Rd NW Cleveland, TN 37311.
