Michael Dupre

Michael Franz Dupre, born December 28, 1966, passed away on September 14, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Dupre; mother, Mary Dupre-Campbell; son, Michael Dupre Jr.; grandparents Cecial and Clara Davis; grandfather Lester Hayden; and grandmother Dorthy Dupre.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelby Dupre; grandchildren Oliver Clarkson, Oaklynn Dupre, and Aleister Dupre; stepchildren Chuancey Lafleur and Amber Lafleur; sister, Melinda (Aaron) Haley; nephews Joseph Haley and Joshua Haley; the mother of his children and friend, Lisa Rosetta; close friend, Cathy Saba; brothers Khalid Saba and Eric Young; nephews Dustin Saba and Jeffrey Saba; uncle John Harris; and cousins Rebecca Dixon and Jeanie Maynard.

Mike was known for his kind and giving heart. He helped everyone. He was a friendly guy you could call on whether you needed fishing advice, car repair, home repair, a boat fixed, landscaping-basically anything. He would show up with a smile and had everything needed to fix your issue in his vehicle, or he would put his resourceful mind to work to find the part needed. It didn't matter who you were-he would help in any way he could.

He made a great impact on all who had the privilege to know him. Mike was the one everyone called with any question about anything, and he always knew exactly what to do. He will be deeply missed by his family, his many friends, and especially his grandchildren and his daughter.
