Merritt Erwin

Merritt Kimsey Erwin, aged 91, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on August 10, 2025. He was born on March 20, 1934, in Calhoun, Tennessee.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Erwin; son, Gary Erwin, and his wife, Kim Miller-Erwin; grandchildren: Bryan Erwin and Esther Familia, Chandler Miller, Olivia Miller, Carolyn Miller, and great-grandchildren, Katherine Cabrera and Richard Cabrera.

Merritt served in the Army and was a proud veteran. His family will gather for a cremation ceremony to honor his life, details of which will be shared at a later date. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Merritt on Saturday, September 27, from 12-4 pm at Olive Branch Event Center located at 109 Interstate Drive in Cleveland, TN.
