Melissa Idol

Missy Tilley Idol, 57, from Niota, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jane Seymore and son, Jake Lemons.

Missy is survived by her husband, John Idol Jr.; father, Johnny Seymore; sons, Jon Lemons, William Crew; daughters, Hazel Idol, Melody Idol, Cheryl Crew; brother, Stoney Tilly; sisters, Lisa Shankle, Veronica Small; many grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. The family will hold a memorial gathering on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 5-6 PM in the Athens Chapel located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN.
