Melissa Fain

Melissa "Missy" Lynn Fain, 51, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 12, 2025.

She attended Mount Harmony Baptist Church in Riceville, TN. Missy had a joyful spirit and a love for life. She enjoyed canning, was learning to quilt, and took great pride in her growing collection of gnomes. Always full of energy, she loved staying busy and was rarely still for long.
Missy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her father, Vannie Stewart.

Survived by her loving husband, Jerry Fain; children, Savannah And Talon Henderson; mother, Doreen Loggins Stewart; brother, James Simon; sister, Becky Patrouch; Uncle and Aunt, Norman and Peggy Aliff; Uncle, Mark Loggins; father and mother in-law; John and Sue Fain; brother in-law and wife, Jeff and Sandy Fain; sister in-law and husband, Kristi and Lee Morelock; and special friends, Kathy Clayborn and Jennifer White.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 7:00pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens. A Visitation will be held prior from 5:00pm-7:00pm. There will be a Graveside Service on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 1:00pm at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
