Matthew Mark Schlageter

Matthew Schlageter, 50, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on February 14, 2026, in a local hospital. He was the son of Carl and Kristy Schlageter.

He is preceded in death by his son Austin Mark.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Erica Schlageter, four children Chassity, Houston, Alexis and Mattie, two stepchildren Madeline and Gracey, siblings Carl III, Lauren and Samatha along with their families, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 7 PM at the Echoes of Mercy Baptist Church with the family receiving friends from 5-7 PM prior to the service.
