Patricia Senn Nicholson, age 90, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on December 28, 2025.
Patricia was born on September 29, 1935, in Troy, Alabama, to Joe Jack Senn and Mattie Key Senn. In her early years in Troy, she worked as a bank clerk. She later moved north, where she worked in the accounting department for Keel Record Manufacturing in Long Island, New York. Patricia eventually settled in the Southeast, completing a distinguished career of over 20 years in customer service with JI Case International in Atlanta, Georgia.
To many in her later years-especially through her grandchildren-she was lovingly known as "Nan." To those closest to her, Patricia was remembered for her strong force of character, deep devotion to her family, and her lifelong care for animals great and small, with a special fondness for Rottweilers.
She is survived by her children, Mary Lee Eavenson, James Curtis Drinkard, and Jacqueline Hunter; grandchildren, Joshua Caudell, Martin Adams, Raleigh Quesenberry, Rachel Baker, Catherine Quesenberry, and Mallory Eavenson (Girard); great-grandchildren, Michael Haynes Baker, Madeleine Claire Baker, Brayden Sims, and Logan Sims; niece, Maree H. Milner; brother, James Edward Senn; brother-in-laws, Kenneth Bishop and Bobby Nicholson; sister-in-laws, Dee Dee Bishop and Irma Nicholson; along with numerous other friends, relatives, in-laws, and outlaws.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, John Francis Adams "Jack"; her husband, Charles T. Nicholson "Sonny"; and her sister, Jacqueline Senn Harris.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 4, at 10:30 a.m. at Benton Memorial Gardens in Polk County, Tennessee. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Caudell, Martin Adams, Michael Baker, Nick Girard, Mac Waddell, Ken Bishop, Chase Bishop, and Adam Hubble.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bradley County SPCA in Patricia's name.
Patricia's strength, love for family, and compassion for animals will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
