Mary Louise Lindsey, 89, lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN, passed away June 8, 2024. Born January 28, 1935, to the late William Flippo & Clara Flippo. Mary loved making flowers and crafts.
In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Weakley and Maragret Talley; brother, William Buddy Flippo.
Survived by her sons, Alvin (Sheila) Lindsey and Calvin (Linda) Lindsey; daughter, JoAnn Jarvis; siblings, Gwen Harrell, Brenda Brown, Mildred Rossman, and Diane Campbell; 5 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Companion Funeral Home-Chattanooga Chapel, 6018 John Douglas Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM, at Greenwood Cemetery, 1954 Greenwood Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37406, with Pastor Guinn Green officiating.
