Mary Bell Kirby

Mary Bell Kirby born Feb. 7, 1951 went home to her Lord and Saviour on Oct 21, 2025. She was born and raised in East Chattanooga TN on Lightfoot Mill Road. She succumbed to her illness and was healed from her pain. She gave her life to Christ and accepted Jesus to show her faith and commitment to our Lord, she was baptized in the Tennessee River. She was a kind and gentle woman who sometimes didn't filter her thoughts or opinions. She gave her heart and soul to everyone she encountered and treated everyone with love and encouragement. Mary had many friends and family she loved, cared and prayed for.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ida Lee and William Ware, son Arthur Kirby, daughters Mellissa and Elizabeth Kirby.

Survived by, sons Jeff and William Kirby, daughters Tonya (Michael) Jennings, Vicki (Jason) Shadwick, Tempie Kirby. She was blessed with many grandchildren: Mandy (Jeremy) Ferguson, Amber Kirby, Grayson Kirby, Casey and Zeke (Maddie) Jennings, Hope and Faith Shadwick, Noah Kruser, Lucas and Jaxson Buttigieg, Liam Swanson, Tenley Kirby, great-grandchildren: Leland, Jaden, Harley and Gracie Ferguson, Anthony and Alexus White and Maverick Kramlich and Illiana Jennings.

No services or visitation will be held. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
