Mary Ellen Cooke

Mary Ellen Cooke, 72, of Soddy Daisy passed away at her residence Thursday, June 27, 2019. She was born in Des Moines , IA and had been a resident of Soddy Daisy for the past 7 years coming from Hixson, TN. Mary loved to sew and do arts and crafts. She enjoyed family get-togethers, and playing games, especially Bingo, Zilch and card games.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ruth Branchcomb; siblings, Joseph Branchcomb, Diana Seiberling, Jerry Branchcomb; a daughter, Patricia Barnett; a son, James Stone; and several other cherished loved ones.
Survivors include her sons, James Barnett, Jr., Kenneth Barnett, and Keith Barnett (Angela); daughter, Tina Stone; sisters-in-law, Dianna Ruston and Deborah McCalla; grandchildren, Misty Barnett (Jerrid), Christopher Barnett (Brynn), Jena Barnett, Donovan Barnett (Britany), Brittany Barnett, Kimberly Barnett, Joshua Stone (Cristine), and Shana Joslin (Anthony); great grandchildren, Brett, Alayna, Jupiter, and Beau; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be from 12pm to 5pm, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Christ Reformed Church, 12220 Old Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379 with Pastor Britt Watson Officiating at 2pm
