Mary Burnette

Mary Opal Harris, Hampton, Burnette passed away on November 18, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father William Harrison Harris, Eleanor Marie Cantrell Harris, first husband John Lester Hampton, second husband Gordon Burnette, son William Lester Hampton, brother William Marvin Harris, grandson Willie Hampton.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Paul Hampton, grandsons Dustin and Corey Hampton, Wade Hampton, Brian Hampton, and Granddaughter Felisha Hampton Pirtle. She also leaves behind several great grandchildren.

She was born on July 9, 1933 in Bradley County, TN. She was of the Baptist Faith.

A graveside service for Ms. Burnette will be held at 3pm on Wednesday November 22nd at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Reverend Jamie Baker to officiate.
