Mary Frances Armstrong

Mary Frances Armstrong, 90, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on December 10, 2025. She was born to the late Pearl Rogers and Weatherston Shelton Greer on May 30, 1935 in Pikeville, Tennessee.

Mary Frances was devoted to her family, as her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and interest. She always wanted to be apart of something that was bigger than herself. Mary Frances was a devout member of Wesley Memorial Church, and loved Jesus. She also served as a member and chair person of the Bradley County Election Commission for many years. Mary Frances was raised on a large farm, and continued her passion for the outdoors and gardening throughout her life. She loved to walk, socialize, and always offered a smile.

In addition to her parents, Mary Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Russell Armstrong, and her brothers, Henry Clay Greer, and Weatherston Shelton Greer.

She is survived by her children, Amy (Bill) Armstrong Reedy, Eric (Lisa) Armstrong, grandson, Wyatt (Emily Liner) Armstrong Reedy, and great-grandchildren, Stetson Coe, Mary Wren, and Sutton Mae Reedy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, December 21st, 2025 at 2:00pm at Wesley Memorial Church. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Wesley Memorial Church in Mary Frances' name.
