Marty Harris

Marty Eugene Harris, 54, of Sweetwater, TN, went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2025.

Marty had a deep and abiding love for Jesus and spent much of his time studying the Bible and growing in his faith. He also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially fishing, which brought him peace and relaxation. Marty will be remembered for his strong faith, gentle spirit, and love for God's word. He was a member of Oasis Ministries in Riceville, TN.

Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Elaine Harris; and niece, Kayla Presley.

Survivors include his sister, Linda West; nephew, Chris Presley; and many other loved family and friends.

Per Marty's wishes, there will be no formal services.
