Martha LaBar  

Martha LaBar, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024. Born on November 23, 1955, Martha was known for her deep love for her family and her passion for gardening. She found solace in the peaceful surroundings of North Georgia, where she cultivated a beautiful garden that brought joy to all who knew her.

Martha is survived by her loving husband, Raymond LaBar, her children Shannon Townsend, Scott Townsend, and Mitchell Townsend, and her cherished grandchildren Mack, Lya, Kayla, Hunter, and Alexa Townsend. She is also survived by her sisters Dorothy Buchanan and Betty Welch.

Martha's family and friends will always remember her as a kind and loving woman who dedicated her life to her family. At this time, no services are scheduled. Martha will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
