Obituary
Marsha R. Self, 55, of Benton, TN passed away on Saturday February 14, 2015 at her home. She was born on April 27, 1959 to the late John and Gladys self. Marsha was a very handy person who enjoyed carpentry and yard work. She also loved being outdoors, fishing, cars, and pocket knives.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by one brother Jackie Self and sister Shelby Jean Morrow.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Jeffrey Self (Jennifer); daughter Gladys Shelton (Ray); four brothers: Charles Self, John Self, Herman Self, and Johnny Self; four sisters: Arlene Simons (Jimmy), Marie Cross (Rex), Jenny Coker, and Anna Mae Mulligan; in addition to these, she leaves behind six grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday February 19, 2015 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Rev. Carl Haulk officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday February 18th and on Thursday from 12:00pm until the 1:00pm service time. Interment will follow the service in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Copperhill.
