Mark R. Isbill

Mark Reed Isbill, 61, passed away on July 31, 2025. He was born to the late Dorothy J. Gibson on July 1, 1964 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Mark enjoyed cooking, caregiving, teaching, spending time with his grandbabies, and watching Georgia Football.

In addition to his mother, Mark is preceded in death by his brothers, Tony Gibson and Tommy Stringer, and great-grandmother, Jewel Marie Beaty Thomas.

Mark is survived by his wife, Mottie Isbill, daughter, Sophia Reed, son, Alex Isbill, grandchildren, Benjamin and Elizabeth Reed, Easton Stacks, siblings, Michael and Rodney Stringer, and Gwen Pepper.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel at 2:00 pm with Pastor Ronnie Jones officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at McInturff Cemetery.
