Marilyn Sue Evans

Marilyn Sue Evans, 71, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. She was a resident of the area for over 40 years and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her beloved grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Frances Nelson; and brother, Bill Nelson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 54 years, Bill Evans; children, Tracie Evans (Scott) Sutton and Lance (Gina) Evans; siblings, Shirley Murrell and Caroline Graham; grandchildren, Brittany, Tanner, Reid, and Dalton; 2 step-grandchildren, Berit and Holland; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the United Way of Bradley County in Marilyn’s honor.
