Maria Iva Kincaid

Maria Kincaid, 54, of Decatur, Tennessee, passed away on February 3, 2022. She was born on August 5, 1967 to the late Robert Jackson and Betty Marie Goforth in Athens, Tennessee. Maria was a loving mother and grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Samantha Kincaid; her grandchild, Waylon Trew; her brother, Denzel Jackson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Ava (Shawn) Gilbert, Stacy (Billy) Trew, Amanda (Richard) Sims; her grandchildren, Perry Sims, Kayce Sims, Levi Sims, Waylon Trew, Ikeisaiah Trew, Ivan Gilbert, Seth Gilbert, Shyanne Gilbert, Naythan Gilbert; her son-in-law, Mike Lankford; her sisters, Rochel Gonzalez, Seretha Murphy, Nadine Webb; along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Companion Funeral Home of Athens with pastor Jordan Metzger officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held at Decatur City Cemetery on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 following the service.
