Margaret Ann Harris

Margaret Ann "Pope" Harris gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, April 23, 2026, and is now in the presence of her Savior and loved ones who have passed before her. She was born in Copperhill, TN, and was a lifelong resident of Cleveland. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Inez Pope. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Buckner; her second husband, George Harris; her brother, Charles Lee Pope; and her sisters, Geraldine Pope McBryar and Janice Maxine Pope.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Carl Edward (Caroline) Buckner; daughters, Annette Nicholson, Janice Darlene Buckner, and Pricilla Dean Wright; sisters, Loraine (Roger) Roark and Patsy Mowery; grandchildren, Timmy Myers, Brandon Wright, Jennifer Wright, Ashley Buckner, and McKinsey Buckner; seven beloved great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and special friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM at The Lord's House, 4900 Bill Jones Road, Apison, TN 37302, with Reverend Don Oliver officiating.
