Marcell "Moss" Parker

Marcell Parker, 64, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, TN, made Heaven her eternal home on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, James and Ruby Taylor, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Marcell leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 49 years, Carl; her children, April and Daniel (Michelle); two grandsons, Elisha and Gavyn; and her babies (pets), Stanley, Rusty, and Jack. She is also survived by sisters, Loretta (Jack), Teresa (Troy), and brother Stine, along with many loved nephews and nieces.

She worked for more than 30 years at Hickory Springs/Foam Products, where she made many life long friends. She loved the Lord her God, Jesus. She was of the Baptist Faith, and when able, she attended Echoes of Mercy Church with Pastor Daniel White in Cleveland. Marcell enjoyed spending time with her family, loving on her babies, Stanley, Rusty, and Jack. Her favorite things were time with her husband, Carl and watching their grandson, Elisha, playing the game he loved- basketball. And she loved her Tennessee Vols Football. Marcell is loved by many and will be missed immensely.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel with Pastor Daniel White officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm prior to the service. A Graveside service is to follow at Shed Cemetery.
