Mallard Eugene Mason, 81, of Emanuel,GA passed away peacefully February 16, 2026. He was born October 18, 1944 to the late Julius Virgil Mason and Dora Mae Mason.

Mallard is preceded in death by his parents; sister Julius and Dora; sister, Virgie Clark; and daughter, Sandi Mason.

He is survived by his cherished children Wayne Mason and Marti Mason Cox; sisters, Faye Smith and Kay Arrington; cherished grandchildren, Katie Mason Pafford, Traci Mason, Harry Peek, Amber Peek Moses, Charity Fish, and Jordan Taylor as well as 7 great-grandchildren: Emma Pafford, Joseph Pafford, Elyse Thomas, Raleigh Thomas, Raylynn Fish, Madison Fish and Colton Fish. 

Mr. Mason was a brother in Christ. He was an 18 wheeler driver for most of his life and a loaderman at Rogers Group for 14 years where he retired from who brought him great joy.

Mallard will be remembered as a loving father, brother, and grandfather whose strength and kindness touched all who knew him. His family takes comfort in knowing he is reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.

There will be a private memorial at a later date.
