Madeline Barbara Sosnak

Madeline Barbara Sosnak, 87, passed away peacefully March 22, 2026, at Spring City Care & Rehabilitation. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to parents Thomas and Vera Berman September 1, 1938. Madeline was one of five kids; Helen Cox, Loretta Maffei, Patricia Hughes, and Gene Berman.

In life she received her associates degree in RHIT at International College of Naples. Madeline married the love of her life Lane McCoy, July 21, 1956. The two were inseparable until Lane's unfortunate passing in March of 1973. From then on Madeline raised their two children Lanette and Robin on her own. The three women enjoyed many summer days swimming at Pine Lake in Ohio. Madeline was overjoyed when becoming a grandma to Madison and Morgan in April of 1997 and June of 1999.

She will always be remembered for her love of family, the outdoors, Captain Ds, sweet tea and the Bee Gees. Everyone loved her quick wit personality that always lit up a room.

Madeline will be missed by all especially those that are still here; Lanette Kantainis (Stanley) of Naples, FL, Robin Nalefski (Dave) of Cleveland,TN, Madison Parton (Tyler) of Corryton,TN and Morgan Geiger (Bella) of Ooltewah,TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lane, and her siblings.

Madeline asked to not have a service. In her memory instead she asks you please thank the amazing men and women of Spring City Care & Rehab for all their hard work and dedication to their patients. The family wishes to thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
