Lynda Sue Phillips

Lynda Sue Phillips (Jones) 65 of Chattanooga, TN, went home to be with the Lord on June 5th at 2:20 P.M. she passed away peacefully at her home.

Lynda grew up in St. Elmo and was a graduate of Kirkman Technical High School. She worked for NK Lawn and Garden for over 20 years, and when it closed, she moved on to the Rib & Loin where she retired from. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wanda Sue Jones, Willis Ward (Sonny) Jones and sister, Angela Paige Jones.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Phillips; Step-son, Derek Phillips; Granddaughter, Whitley Phillips; Nieces, Carrie (Jamie) Conkle of Trenton GA, Hannah (Michael) Romines of Rossville GA, Andrea (Nick) Mullis of Trenton GA; Brother, William Christopher Jones of Chattanooga TN and Grandchildren, Hayden & Landon Conkle, Logan & Noah Romines, Elijah, Emersyn & Emma Sue Mullis and several friends.

Memorial Service will be held on July 18th at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel of Ryans Funeral Home in Trenton, Ga with her best friend of over 50 years Lewis Vajda officiating.
