Louise Lawson

Louise Black Lawson, 88, of Cleveland, TN, gained her angel wings on Friday, August 1, 2025, peacefully in her home.

Louise was born to the late Clela Black Mason and Taylor Black on August 21, 1936, in Old Fort, TN. She was of the Baptist faith. She was known by many as Granny, Momma, and Memaw. She was known for her feisty spirit and love of thrifty shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Michael and Scott Lawson; brothers, Bobby, Larry, Wayne, Arnold, and Glenn Black; and sister Deanna McKenzie.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Victoria (Eric) Caldwell; Grandchildren, Bettina (Mark) Ingram, Jason (Cheyenne) McIntosh, Ryan (Makenzi) Caldwell, Casey (Tabitha) Caldwell, Taylor (Lindsey) Morgan; great grandchildren, Zayne, Maddyson, Landon and Broncs McIntosh, Katie Jones, Jaxson, Charlie, and Chandler Ingram, Journey, Wilder, and Alliyah Caldwell, and Bridget Morgan; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 4-6 PM followed by a memorial service at 6 PM officiated by Pastor Tracy Fansler.
