Louis Eugene Jensen

Louis Eugene Jensen (Butch), age 80 of Andersonville Tennessee, formerly from Mass City and Gaylord, MI, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at UT Medical Center with family by his side. He was born June 11,1945 in Grayling MI, to the late Leonard and Helen Jensen.

He was a Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam. Butch enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Stock Car Racing and Helping Veterans in times of need. When he was younger, he loved spending time with his family at Heart Lake, and most will have fond memories of good times with him there. To know Butch was an adventure and he lived that adventure to the end.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard Jensen, and Earl Jensen; sisters, Polly Wright, Shirley Granger, and Glada Benaway.

Butch is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Jensen; children, Jeff McEwen, Joy Pelto (Ed), Gary Jensen (Carrie), Mike McEwen, Jody Jensen, Tim McEwen (Samantha); sister, Marlene Hale and many grandchildren.

Butch's Celebration of Life will be on June 6, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Andersonville, TN with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating. Full Military Honors will follow.
