Logan Douglas Dedmon, 38, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. Born on June 28, 1987, Logan grew up with a spunky spirit, a generous heart, and a smile that could light up any room.
Logan was more than a brother-he was a confidant, a protector, and a lifelong friend. He had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, whether through his quick wit, his willingness to lend a hand, or his quiet acts of kindness.
A talented first responder by trade, Logan poured his heart into each endeavor he took. Logan was a dedicated volunteer firefighter with the Wolf Creek Fire Department and a newly trained EMT. Outside of work, he loved gaming, movies, comedy shows, guns, Zombie conventions, and sharing stories that always ended in laughter.
Logan is survived by his parents, Maxie LaShawn Peoples and Jeff Richard Dedmon (Pennee Dedmon); his sisters, Breanna Isham, Elora Kiser (Dedmon), Parker Peoples and Debbie Driver; his brothers Chuck Peoples, Kurt Peoples, David Peoples and Ryan McMillan who is like a brother; his niece Abbigail Kiser, many loving family members and countless friends who became like family.
Logan is preceded in his death by his loving grandparents, Harold Douglas Gaines and Maxine Smith Gaines, and Katrinka Martin and his stepfather, Bruce Peoples.
A celebration of Logan's life will be held on Sunday March 29, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Spring City Cemetery on Cemetery Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wolf Creek Fire Department, a cause close to Logan's heart.
Logan's love, humor, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
