Lloyd Stephen Hultman, 71, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on June 12, 2026.
Born on April 10, 1955, to Jack and Agnes Hultman, Steve lived a life rooted in faith, family, and a love of learning. He found great joy in gardening, reading his Bible, and sharing the message of Jesus Christ with others. Those who knew him will remember his gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and willingness to encourage everyone he met.
Steve graduated from Drake High School in Marin County, California.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Hultman, sisters Patty Amey and Joanna Hultman, and brothers Jack Hultman and SimonHultman.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 52 years, Susan Carter Hultman. Together they built a loving family that includes their children, Tonya Hultman, Shawn Hultman (Jennifer Hultman), Joshua Hultman (Sarah Morris), and Jeremiah Hultman.
He is also survived by his stepmother Diane Hultman, siblings: Elizabeth Salfen (Elliott Frias), Esther Forbes (Gordon Forbes), Becky Natividad (Henry Okamoto), Sharon Beauchan (Colin Nakagawa) and Joseph Hultman (Stefanie Tai See).
Steven was a proud grandfather to Christopher Springberg, Alexander Hultman, and Chloe Hultman.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6pm on June 30th at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Missions in Steve's honor.
Steve's legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to his family will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
