Linda Elizabeth Turner

Linda Elizabeth Turner, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2026. She had been a cherished resident of the area for over 50 years.

Linda was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring sister, and proud grandmother. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, whom she loved deeply. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, music, and the outdoors, where she found peace and happiness in the beauty of nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Virginia Dwyer; brothers, John Pesek and Arthur Dwyer; sister, Brenda Dwyer; son, Michael R. Calvert Jr.; and daughters, Melinda E. Calvert and Kristina A. Calvert.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 20 years, Michael Slone; daughter, Sherry (Robby) Talbott; brother, Michael Dwyer; and her beloved grandchildren, Sebastian Gordon, Jennifer Smith, Justus Smith, Shania (Colten) Bowers, Austin Calvert, Hayley Calvert, and Michaela Calvert. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2415 Georgetown Road, Cleveland, Tennessee 37311.

Linda will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of family, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew and loved her.
