Lillie Mae Grindell

Lillie Mae Grindell, 88, of Etowah passed away on June 13,2026.

Preceded in death by parents, William Lucas and Lola Mae Dyke; children, Ricky Allen Dyke, Carolyn Ann Buckner and Arvil Lee Buckner.

Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Sandra and Frank Murphy; grandchildren and spouses, Jennifer and Phillip Dotson, Gerald Miller, Ryan Murphy, Samantha Murphy, Raleigh Ball, Casey Miller, Emily and Corey Stratton, Emerson Dotson and Eleanor Dotson, and Justin and Kaitlin Dotson; great granddaughter, Prudence Bail; and significant other for many years, Wayne Lankford; and many other loved family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens. The funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. A graveside service will immediately follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Englewood, TN.
