Leslie Couey

Leslie Ann Couey, age 55, passed away on January 12, 2026. She was born on September 21, 1970.

Leslie was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Patterson; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Gregory; and her paternal grandparents, Oscar and Cora Patterson.

She is survived by her beloved children, son Tyler (Cheyenne) Couey and daughter Ashley Couey; her mother, Shirley Patterson; her brother, Jimmy Patterson; her sisters, Donna (Russ) Robinson, Tonya (Kendall) Moody, Dana (Rudy) Navarrette, and Nicole (Timmy) Lineberry; her cherished granddaughter, Ezimea Couey; and many loving nieces and nephews, including 11 nieces and 9 nephews.

Leslie was a kind and caring soul who was always willing to help others in any way she could. She loved singing songs about Jesus and found joy in creating videos, writing songs and poems, painting, and making jewelry. Above all, Leslie treasured time spent with her family. She also enjoyed the simple pleasure of flying kites, embracing moments of peace and happiness. In her final act of generosity, Leslie was an organ donor, continuing her legacy of giving and compassion.

A service to celebrate Leslie's life will be scheduled at a later date.
