Leroy Blackwell

Leroy Clint Blackwell, born on July 13th, 1936 passed away on June 2nd, 2025, at a local hospital.

Leroy was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jessie and Allie Blackwell. He was also preceded in death by 3 sisters; Viola, Rosie, and Edna. His 3 brothers Elbert, Ed, and Clyde.

He leaves behind his wife of 69 years, Margie Pendergrass Blackwell. His 2 sons, Jerry Blackwell (Robin), Terry Blackwell (Barbara). Grandchildren; Jeremy Blackwell (Jennifer), Josh Blackwell, Jason Blackwell (Amy), Tara Kimsey (Jason), Sydney Cheatham (Chunk), Haley Wilson-Goss (Destiny). 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great, great-grandchildren.

There will be no service at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Leroy would have appreciated any donations going toward the Smoky Mountains that he loved so dearly.
