Jane Walker Eldridge

Jane Walker Eldridge (Sweet Pea), 71, passed away June 16, 2025, at her home in Cleveland, TN with her husband JC at her side. Daughter of the late Leon and Dee, Jane was born March 12, 1954, in Chattanooga.

After working at Warehouser for 20 years, where she would met, the love of her life, JC Eldridge, they would travel and see the world. These travels would created so many cherished memories and form lasting friendships.

In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by her two brothers, Lonnie "Punkin" and Kenny Brown.

Left behind to forever cherish her memory are husband, JC Eldridge; daughters, Pamela (Bill) Baker of Decatur, TN and Deania Ware of FL; son Ricky(Henerietta) Hill of Chattanooga. Five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, the lights of her life. Also left is her sister, Faye Carter (John) Schrenkel and Aunt Betty Brown.

Jane had a way of making friends, but those dearests were Sammy & Shelia Cagle, Brenda Tussing, Robert & Stacy, Sheilah "Blondie" Dickerson, Sue Walker and many others.

The celebration of a life well lived, in honor Jane, will be Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Companion Funeral Home-Ridge Chapel. The family will receive guest 3:00-5:00 PM with services to immediately follow. JC and Jane's Pastor Danny Emerson, of United Christian Church, will officiate. Jane will be laid to rest Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Decatur, TN at 11:00 AM.

Friends and family serving as pallbearers included: Bill and Dalton Baker, Jacob Kugate, London Ware, Robert Simmons, Dale and Dean Brown.

Jane's beautiful smile and warm personality will always be remembered by her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed.
